I don’t recall the day, time or event where I would consider I started my spiritual journey. Sure, there were life changing events and awesome moments prior to this current day, but not one “ Aha moment”. Still, not recalling the event doesn’t matter. What matters is that my quest to live a spiritual life is a 24/7 endeavor. It is an everyday blessing that I want, need and cherish. I feel blessed to have had teachers mentor me and share their wisdom. I have Family and friends who love me and tolerate my “unusual” messages of love and encouraging words. Most importantly, I have felt the universes love through many ways in the last 7 years.
My intention for this blog is to share the difficulties, frustration, confusion, love and bliss that I have encountered on my journey. I am just a woman in my late 40’s who has been seeking internal peace with this physical world we are all in. Events in this current world can be soul crushing. It’s almost as if we need a suit of armor just to get out of bed in the morning. Sometimes, all I can consciously manage in a day, is to say my morning mantra before lifting my head off the pillow. I learned it years ago and have said it daily since that time.
“Help me to show up to this day, to be fully present, to speak only the truth and to have no expectations. “
There are beautiful things all around us, and within us. I hope to assist you in seeing these blessings that occur everyday.
Wishing you peace…
